Workshop: The colour of writing
Officina della Scrittura is the first museum in the world dedicated to the Sign. It is an important project that traces the birth and growth of a remarkable invention: written communication.

An intensive weekend dedicated to the discovery of natural inks, guided by Maestro Ernesto Casciato. Two independent but complementary days to explore the history of writing through its most fascinating raw materials.
Saturday will be dedicated to historical inks, such as carbon black, walnut husk and the famous ferrogallic. Sunday will be spent experimenting with inks based on botanical elements such as hibiscus flowers, clitoria ternatea, nettle, brazilwood, madder and many others.
It is possible to take part in a single day (€80) or register for the whole weekend (€150). The course takes place on the last weekend the museum is open.
