Officina della Scrittura is the first museum in the world dedicated to the Sign. It is an important project that traces the birth and growth of a remarkable invention: written communication.

From 15 to 19 May 2025, Officina della Scrittura will be the protagonist at the Book Fair with a busy calendar of demonstrations, workshops, readings and events. An opportunity to approach the world of calligraphy, graphology and the sign in all its forms.
During all the days it will be possible to attend live calligraphy demonstrations with Maestro Ernesto Casciato, participate in thematic workshops at the Writing Workshop (Hall 4), and discover the secrets of one’s own handwriting thanks to free graphological analyses.
Special appointments include:
- Workshop ‘Freehand’ – Thursday 15, 2.30 pm (Hall 4)
- Workshop ‘Il nerofumo Medievale’ – Sunday 18, 1.30 pm (Pav. 4)
- 88.88 YOWRAS Literary Competition Award Ceremony – Sunday 18, 1.30 pm (Silver Space, Pav. 2)
- Poetry readings with Rosita Panetta – Sunday 18, h. 14:00
