Officina della Scrittura, the first museum in the world entirely dedicated to Sign and Writing, continues its intense exhibition activity: the sixth exhibition in less than two years opens in September, a sign of a continuous search for in-depth paths on the themes dear to the Museum.
The new project continues the intention to celebrate throughout 2018 the symbolic binomial ‘Paper and Pen’, a theme already central to the previous exhibition ‘Liber Fare. La collezione di libri d’artista dell’Accademia di Belle Arti di Palermo’ and is to be seen as preparatory to the many initiatives planned for the centenary of Aurora Penne (1919-2019), the historic Turin brand in whose factory the Museum is housed.
The exhibition ‘DI CARTA’, based on an idea by Paola Gribaudo and curated by Pierluca Nardoni, the young author of successful exhibitions such as ‘Ejzenstejn. La rivoluzione delle immagini’ at the Uffizi Galleries, will be inaugurated on 10 October at 6.30 pm and open to the public from 11 October to 3 February.
