Street Arts Volant!

This is the third exhibition for Officina della Scrittura, Museo del Segno e della Scrittura, which is thus celebrating its first year of lively activity: on 1 October 2017, ‘Street Arts Volant!’, curated by Ermanno Tedeschi, opens, an excursus on a controversial art form that, although protagonist in recent years of universal legitimisation, has retained its problematic and topicality intact.
The exhibition is a tribute to the various forms of ‘street art’ that, beyond the vitalistic charge and pleasantness of the works on display, is all the more necessary to understand an important component of the urban planning of our cities; it is a cue to question the link between Street Art and the post-industrial urban peripheries and its potential as an instrument of disfigurement and at the same time of redevelopment of these areas.
