The FondamentA di pace exhibition becomes the stage for a multidisciplinary meeting that will explore the deep connection between art, collective well-being and social dynamics. The event, entitled “Art and Wellbeing in Contemporary Society”, will offer an extraordinary opportunity for reflection and discussion, where psychotherapist Maura Anfossi and art sociologist Antonio Costanzo will join artists and the exhibition curator in discussing the connections between aesthetic experience, emotions and social contexts.
The event was created with the aim of exploring the impact that art has on individual and collective wellbeing through a dialogue that involves the emotional, psychological and social dimensions of contemporary art. The meeting is not limited to a simple visit to the exhibition but becomes an opportunity to explore the deeper meaning of the works on display, with a particular focus on colour and the emotions that each brushstroke and each shade can evoke.
Maura Anfossi, psychotherapist and author of Emozioni a colori (Emotions in Colour), will guide us in understanding how colours, both in works of art and in everyday life, are vehicles for emotions and tools for communication. Her talk will explore the cathartic and therapeutic power of art, with a special focus on how colour, in particular, can affect our psyche, stimulating well-being or revealing hidden dimensions of ourselves.
Antonio Costanzo, art sociologist and author of the book Cos’è l’arte? (What is art?), will share his thoughts on the role of art in contemporary society, exploring how artistic expression can act as a cultural and social mediator. From this perspective, art becomes a tool for connection, a means of exploring and redesigning our relationship with others and with the world around us.
The dialogue with artists Tobia Ravà and Abdallah Khaled and curator Ermanno Tedeschi will be enriched with ideas ranging from the symbolism of colours, which have a profound meaning for both artists, to the relationship between art and the perception of well-being. Their works, which combine suggestions of places, cultures and universal emotions, will be the common thread of a broader reflection on the balance between beauty and wellbeing, the personal and the collective.
An unmissable opportunity to experience the FondamentA di pace exhibition from a new perspective, to understand how art can be a vehicle for wellbeing and transformation in contemporary times.
