Officina della Scrittura is the first museum in the world dedicated to the Sign. It is an important project that traces the birth and growth of a remarkable invention: written communication.

Inaugurated on 15 February, the fourth exhibition held in little more than a year by the Museo del Segno e della Scrittura is in the Sign of the promising talents of international contemporary art.
From 16 February to 21 March, the works of the finalists of the Meneghetti International Art Prize, a prestigious international prize established by the Antonio Meneghetti Foundation for Scientific and Humanistic Research, will be on public view. Its aim is to promote artistic expression as a universal yearning for beauty, not only in painting and sculpture, but also in design and fashion.
The success of the Prize is testified by the hundreds of applications from artists from all over the world, who have thus offered an original and multifaceted representation of the concept of beauty, allowing the observer to take a fascinating journey through the universal signs and languages of art.
The jury that selected the works is chaired by Pamela Bernabei, President of the Foundation and is composed of international authorities in the field of art: Bruna Biamino, Coordinator of the Department of Photography at the IED of Turin; Riccardo Cordero, Sculptor, artist, former lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts of Turin; Masayuki Koorida, Director of the Shanghai Sculpture Center; Franco Marrocco, Director of the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera; Licia Mattioli, Vice President for Internationalisation – Confindustria and A. D. Mattioli SpA; Werner Meyer, Director of the Kunsthalle Göppingen Museum; Tom Moran, Chief Curator Grounds for Sculpture Hamilton, New Jersey; Ermanno Tedes, Director of the Kunsthalle Göppingen Museum; Tom Moran, Director of the Museum of Fine Arts of Hamilton, New Jersey; and Licia Mattioli, Vice President for Internationalisation – Confindustria and A. D. Mattioli SpA. D.
